WordPress 3.0.2 was just released

Just a quick note, WordPress 3.0.2 was just released last night and it contains an important security fix that already has an exploit in the wild.





Simply login into your WordPress dashboard and use Upgrade option provided. We have upgraded all our blogs, including couple running in Multi-Site configuration with no technical issues but please be sure to backup your database before running upgrade!

This release has a fix for a "moderate security" problem that allows attacker, who has "Author" privileges on your blog to gain higher access.

Obviously it is not critical for majority of the blogs that have only one administrative account but I highly recommend you upgrade today!
